Bounty Terms.

Draft — not yet reviewed by a solicitor. These pages were written to describe how clipd actually works, so nothing is promised that the product does not do. They are not legal advice and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on them.

1. What a bounty is

You put up a bounty pool. Independent creators ("clippers") cut your content into short clips and post them on the platforms you nominate. Clippers are paid out of the pool per 1,000 verified views, subject to the qualification rules you set when you apply.

Clippers are not employees, agents or contractors of clipd or of you. clipd operates the platform that matches, verifies and pays them.

2. Co-funding

clipd contributes a share of your pool based on your verified combined following across the accounts you list:

The figure shown while you complete the application is indicative. Your tier is confirmed only after we verify your accounts. If verification puts you in a lower tier than the form estimated, we will tell you before the bounty goes live and you may withdraw for a full refund.

3. Payment

You pay your share of the pool when you submit your application, by card via Stripe or by stablecoin (USDT on Ethereum or Tron, or USDC on Ethereum). clipd never asks for your card details directly and never asks for a private key or seed phrase.

Stablecoin amounts are quoted in US dollars and converted from your chosen currency at the live rate applicable when you submit. You are responsible for sending the correct token on the correct network; transfers sent to the wrong network cannot be recovered.

4. Refunds

You are refunded in full if we cannot verify the accounts you listed, if we decline your bounty, or if you withdraw before the bounty goes live.

Once a bounty is live, funds already earned by clippers for qualifying views are not refundable. Any unspent balance at the end of the campaign is returned to you.

Card refunds are returned to the original payment method. Stablecoin refunds are returned to the address the payment came from, less the network fee.

5. Your content and your accounts

By applying you confirm that you are 18 or over, that you own or are authorised to represent every account you list, and that you hold all rights necessary for clippers to use the content you supply — including footage, music and any third-party material.

You grant clipd and participating clippers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, edit and publish that content for the duration of your campaign, solely for the purpose of running the bounty.

You remain responsible for the content you supply. If a third party claims their rights have been infringed, you agree to indemnify clipd against that claim.

6. Qualification rules

You set the rules a clip must meet to earn from your pool — tagging, audio use, minimum length, minimum views, how long a clip must stay up, and so on. Only clips meeting those rules are paid.

clipd verifies views against platform data. We may withhold payment for clips we reasonably believe involve bought views, bot traffic, misleading edits, or any breach of the hosting platform's own terms.

7. What clipd does not promise

clipd does not guarantee any particular number of views, clips, clippers or outcomes. The reach figure you enter on the application is your target, not a commitment by us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, clipd's total liability arising out of your bounty is limited to the amount you paid into the pool.

8. Ending a campaign

You may pause or stop a campaign at any time. Clips already posted continue to earn for views accrued up to the moment the campaign stops.

clipd may suspend or end a campaign that breaches these terms, breaches a platform's rules, or exposes clipd or clippers to legal risk. Where we do so through no fault of yours, unspent funds are returned in full.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your bounty is the one published when you submitted your application.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
