These pages were written to describe how clipd actually works, so nothing is promised
that the product does not do. They are not legal advice and must be reviewed by a
qualified lawyer before you rely on them.
1. Who we are
clipd ("we") operates clipd.pro. For the information you give us on the bounty application, we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@clipd.pro.
2. What we collect
- About you — name, email address, creator or brand name, country.
- About your audience — the social handles you list, follower counts, average views, and any analytics or media-kit link you share.
- About your bounty — the content link, cover image, budget, target reach, campaign rules and any notes you write.
- Payment — the method you choose, billing name and tax ID if you give them, and for stablecoin payments the wallet address and transaction hash. We never receive your card number — Stripe collects that directly.
- Consent records — the declarations you tick, your typed signature and the date.
- Technical — the page URL, referrer and browser locale at the moment you submit.
3. Why we use it
- To verify that the accounts and audience you describe are genuine — without this we cannot co-fund a bounty.
- To take payment and issue refunds.
- To run your campaign and brief clippers.
- To contact you about your application, by email or on WhatsApp if you start that conversation.
- To meet our legal, accounting and anti-fraud obligations.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (running your bounty), legitimate interests (verification and fraud prevention), consent where you opt in to marketing, and legal obligation for financial records.
4. Who we share it with
- Stripe — card payment processing.
- Google — the application record and your cover image are stored in Google Sheets and Google Drive.
- n8n — the automation that moves your application between those systems.
- Hostinger — our email provider, for the messages we send you.
- Clippers — only the parts of your brief needed to make clips: your content link, cover image, campaign rules and the handle to tag. Your email, payment details and personal information are never shared with clippers.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it
Application records are kept for the life of your campaign and for six years afterwards, to meet UK financial record-keeping requirements. Cover images are deleted when a campaign ends unless you ask us to keep them. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Email hello@clipd.pro and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Security
Payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us. Access to application records is limited to the clipd team. We use encrypted connections throughout.
8. Changes
If we change this notice materially we will tell applicants by email.
